About:

The inspiration for Doremouse Diaries stems from Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit. The abstracted spelling of dore in Doremouse nods to the French word doré, meaning "golden" or "gilded" in English—a subtle tribute to Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey and the pursuit of one’s gold.

Unbeknownst to me, the idea of Doremouse Diaries first took root many years ago, circa 2009. Only now has it transformed into something tangible. This platform is an incubator for my creativity and a space to encourage creativity in others, whether through writing, tactile arts, or visual mediums. Aside from minor formatting, the content produced and shared here remains largely unedited—straight from the hip.

Quite frankly, creativity is one of the most important—if not the most important—things to me. I believe that the act of creation naturally fosters compassion. To create is to feel, and by feeling, we cultivate empathy—not just for ourselves but for the world around us. Creatives are the wild ones, the untamed, the truly free.

So, with all that said, welcome to Doremouse Diaries…
